Cinchona BarkCinchona, whose Latin name is 'Cinchona Pubescens', belongs to the madder family. It is a native tree that grows in the Amazon rainforest. Its homeland is Peru and Bolivia. It is grown as an industrial plant in tropical countries such as Java, South India, Colombia, Ceylon, Guatemala, Cameroon, and Congo. Its leaves are egg-shaped. It is a perennial plant with a strong odor and pure white flowers.
Cinchona is much more than just a plant family. It was first used by desert people by mixing mud with their hands and feet to cool them down. In many cultures, henna is believed to ward off evil, keep evil away, and protect against spells. The bark of the cinchona tree, containing resin and tannin, has been used for centuries, and its benefits are utilized. Cinchona and henna are also obtained from this tree.

HOW TO USE CINCHINA POWDER
- Tea:CinchinaFinely chop 1 gram of bark and put it in a teapot. Add 300-500 ml of boiling water. Let it steep for 15-20 minutes, then strain and drink. A maximum of 3 grams per day can be made from the bark or powder.CinchinaIf desired, it can be mixed with raisins and sweetened.
