Why won’t my MediPal ID stay fixed in one place on my seatbelt?

The MediPal ID was designed to slide along your seatbelt for ease of use AND as a safety measure. With the ability to slide freely, the MediPal ID supports the proper function of the seatbelt retractor which is to fully reel in an unbuckled seatbelt. It is important that excess seatbelt is not dangling below your seat and possibly outside the car door as you are exiting. During use, you will find that the MediPal ID is held in position when the ID's underside is resting up against your body.

How do I know the MediPal Seatbelt ID will fit around my vehicle’s seatbelt?

The MediPal Seatbelt ID will comfortably wrap around the International Standard Seatbelt Width of 46 – 49 mm wide; (most are 47 mm (1.85 inches)). Seatbelts are often described as 2-inches wide but they're actually not woven to that width.
