Milk thorn oil is obtained by cold pressing the seeds of the plant (Silybum marianum) without any heat or chemical treatment. After the cold pressing process, it is stored under hygienic conditions. The milk thorn plant is a flowering plant belonging to the same family as the daisy. The milk thorn grows approximately 30-100 cm in height. It is also known as camel thorn, Virgin Mary thorn, and milk thistle. Milk thorn is generally used to treat liver diseases such as hepatitis and cirrhosis.
