Composition:

Advantix solution for external use contains 100 mg of imidacloprid and 500 mg of permethrin as active ingredients, as well as auxiliary components.

Pharmacological action:

Imidacloprid and permethrin, which are part of the product, have a synergistic effect and provide a pronounced insecticidal, acaricidal and repellent effect.

Reduces the risk of possible transmission of transmissible diseases to animals, such as: borreliosis, rickettsiosis, leishmaniasis, as well as the causative agent of canine ehrlichiosis (Ehrlichia canis), etc.

• Permethrin blocks the transmission of nerve impulses, which causes impaired coordination of movements, paralysis and death of ectoparasites.

• Imidacloprid interacts with acetylcholine receptors of arthropods and is involved in the disruption of the transmission of nerve impulses.

By acting as an activator of the nerve node of arthropods, imidacloprid also enhances the insectoacaricidal effect of permethrin.

After using Advantix, its active components, practically without being absorbed into the systemic bloodstream, are quickly distributed over the surface of the body and, remaining on the epidermis and fur, have a long-term (up to 4 weeks) contact insectoacaricidal and repellent action.
