Composition:

Febantel, pyrantel embonate and praziquantel.

• Febantel and pyrantel embonate act on roundworms parasitizing the intestines of dogs.

They paralyze parasites, after which they are removed from the animal's body, which helps to avoid intoxication with their decay products.

• Praziquantel acts on tapeworms in the intestine, leading to their death.

Pharmacological action:

Febantel, which is part of the drug, increases the permeability of cell membranes, which leads to disruption of muscle innervation, paralysis and death of round helminths and promotes their removal from the gastrointestinal tract.

Pyrantel embonate causes increased permeability of cell membranes, irreversible paralysis and muscle contracture in round helminths, which leads to the death of parasites and their removal from the gastrointestinal tract.

Pyrantel embonate and febantel are partially absorbed in the intestine and are excreted from the body mainly with feces within 24-48 hours.

Praziquantel causes depolarization of neuromuscular ganglionic blockers, disrupts glucose transport and microturbulent function in tapeworms, which leads to disruption of muscle innervation, paralysis, and death of parasites.

Praziquantel is rapidly absorbed in the intestine and distributed in internal organs and tissues; it is excreted from the body in urine mainly in metabolized form.

Storage conditions:

The drug is stored in the manufacturer's sealed packaging, separate from food and feed, at a temperature of 2°C to 25°C, out of the reach of children.
