The Foresto flea and tick collar is a product from Elanco that helps protect your dog from tick and flea bites for up to 8 months.
Simply put the collar on your dog.
Most ticks leave the animal before they bite – this is called a repellent effect.
Foresto has exactly this effect, reducing the risk of transmitting dangerous diseases carried by parasites.
The materials from which the collar is made continuously release active ingredients in small doses necessary to protect your pet.
The active ingredients are distributed over the entire surface of the animal's body, helping to protect it from external parasites for up to 8 months.
You can pet your dog with the collar and enjoy playing indoors and outdoors.
Just remember to practice personal hygiene, such as washing your hands after handling your pet.
Your dog can swim with the collar on, because its components are not washed out of the tape by water.

Composition
The combination of imidacloprid and flumethrin allows the active ingredients to enhance each other's effect on ticks, fleas and other external parasites:
• imidacloprid acts on adult fleas and their larvae found on dogs and in the environment, as well as on lice and biting lice;
• flumethrin Effective against ixodid ticks at different stages of their development.
Dosage and administration
A 70 cm long collar contains 4.5 g of imidacloprid and 2.03 g of flumethrin.
Foresto is a product for external use.
It is recommended to put the collar on your pet before the start of the flea and tick season.
Continuous use provides protection for up to 8 months.
Failure to follow the instructions for use may reduce its effectiveness.
After opening the package, unfold the collar from the inside, remove the plastic straps, and put it on the animal, adjusting the size so that there is a gap of 1.0 - 1.5 cm between the animal's neck and the collar.
Then pass the free end through the remaining loops, and cut off the excess collar, leaving approximately 2 cm.

Состав

• флуметрин действует на иксодовых клещей на разных стадиях их развития.
Способ применения и дозы
В ошейнике длиной 70 см - 4,5 г имидаклоприда и 2,03 г флуметрина.
Форесто – препарат наружного действия. Ошейник рекомендуется надеть на животное до начала сезона активности блох и клещей. Непрерывное использование препарата обеспечивает защиту до 8 месяцев. Нарушения режима применения препарата могут привести к снижению его эффективности.После вскрытия упаковки ошейник разворачивают с внутренний стороны, удаляют пластиковые перемычки и надевают на животное, подгоняя по размеру так, чтобы между шеей животного и ошейником остался промежуток в 1,0 – 1,5 см. Затем свободный конец пропускают через оставшиеся петли, излишек ошейника отрезают, оставив примерно 2 см.
