Milbemax for dogs is prescribed for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes for nematodosis, cestodiasis and mixed nematode-cestode infestations caused by the following types of helminths:
cestodes Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus spp., Mesocestoides spp.
nematodes Ancylostoma caninum, Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Trichuris vulpis, Thelazia callipaeda; Angiostrongylus vasorum (reduces the intensity of infestation), Crenosoma vulpis (reduces infestation), Dirofilaria immitis (disease prevention).
Use during pregnancy and lactation
The drug can be used in animals during pregnancy and lactation.
Tablets for puppies and small dogs should not be used in puppies under 2 weeks of age.
Contraindications
Contraindications to the use of Milbemax for dogs include increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug (including in the anamnesis) and severe impairment of kidney and liver function.
Tablets for puppies and small dogs should not be used in animals weighing less than 0.5 kg, tablets for large dogs in animals weighing less than 5 kg.
Deworming of collie, bobtail and sheltie puppies, if necessary, is carried out under the supervision of a veterinarian.
Exhausted animals and animals sick with infectious diseases should not be dewormed.

Мильбемакс для собак назначают с лечебной и профилактической целью при нематодозах, цестодозах и смешанных нематодо-цестодозных инвазиях, вызванных гельминтами следующих видов:
цестоды Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus spp., Mesocestoides spp.
нематод Ancylostoma caninum, Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Trichuris vulpis, Thelazia callipaeda; Angiostrongylus vasorum (снижает интенсивность заражения), Crenosoma vulpis (снижает заражения), Dirofilaria immitis (профилактика заболевания).
Применение при беременности и кормлении грудью
Препарат можно применять животным в период беременности и лактации. Таблетки для щенков и маленьких собак не следует применять щенкам моложе 2-недельного возраста.
Противопоказания
Противопоказанием к применению Мильбемакс для собак является повышенная индивидуальная чувствительность животного к компонентам препарата (в том числе в анамнезе) и выраженные нарушения функции почек и печени.
Не следует применять таблетки для щенков и маленьких собак животным массой менее 0,5 кг, таблетки для крупных собак животным массой менее 5 кг.
Дегельминтизацию щенков породы колли, бобтейл и шелти при необходимости проводят под наблюдением ветеринарного врача.
Не подлежат дегельминтизации истощенные и больные инфекционными болезнями животные.
