MühendisARI VANTHYME HONEY PRODUCTION ADVENTURE?
Our beekeeping expert, Remzi Çelik, sets out in May to select a suitable plateau for honey production in Van. He chooses the appropriate plateau and determines the land where our bees will be accommodated. Dogan Duykun, the manager of the Van Region Thyme Honey Production Farm, sets out in mid-June to load the bees onto trucks from their accommodation in Diyarbakir and transport them to the selected plateau in Van. This journey is a challenging and arduous one for both the bees and the beekeeper. Our Van Region Thyme Honey production journey truly begins when we safely land the bees. Honey flowers begin to bloom in nature. From this point on, our bees begin collecting and storing honey. The most distinctive feature of Van Region Thyme Honey is that it is obtained from the Caucasian bee race. The Caucasian bee race has a longer honey extraction tongue than other bee races. This is why Van Region Thyme Honey has a more unique flavor and aroma than other honeys.
