Located high on the winding mountain roads of Vereda La Tocora in San Adolfo, above Pitalito, Finca Monteblanco is a family farm managed by Rodrigo Sanchez Valencia.

In addition to the varieties most common in Colombia, Rodrigo discovered trees with unique characteristics he hadn't previously noticed, including broad leaves resembling those of the Gesha. They use the Purple Caturra variety in their washed processes because its particular sweetness makes it perfect for microorganism growth.
