Linguine is the typical long pasta shape of Liguria: it resembles a small, flat, narrow tagliatella and was created to accompany traditional pesto. Its flattened shape and slightly rounded form allow it to absorb seasonings and release their full range of flavors. It is excellent with butter and sage, fresh tomato sauces enriched with vegetables and herbs, or spicy sauces prepared at the last minute with extra virgin olive oil, garlic, chili pepper, anchovies, and capers. This type of pasta pairs perfectly with fish sauces featuring shellfish and seafood, and with "white" sauces made with cream, mascarpone, soft and melting cheeses, and a touch of spices such as saffron, horseradish, and ginger. DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT Les Linguine sont le format de pâtes longues typiques de la Ligurie : elles ont la forme d'une petite tagliatella plate et étroite et naissent pour accompagner le pesto traditionnel. Le format écrasé et la forme légèrement arrondie leur permettent de capturer les assaisonnements et d'en restituer toute la variété des saveurs. Elles sont excellentes agrémentées de beurre et sauge ou de sauces tomate fraîche enrichies de légumes et fines herbes ou de sauces piquantes préparées à la dernière minute avec de l'huile vierge extra, de l'ail, du piment, des anchois et des câpres. Ce type de pâte se marie parfaitement aux sauces de poisson avec mollusques et fruits de mer et les sauces "blanches" préparées avec de la crème de lait, du mascarpone, des fromages mous et fondants et une touche d'épices comme le safran, raifort et gingembre.
