Gelmintal preparations are a new generation of anthelmintics with increased efficacy and safety. They successfully replace medications to which parasites may have developed resistance. The desired effect is achieved through a unique combination of active ingredients: moxidectin and praziquantel. The combination of moxidectin and praziquantel included in the preparation provides a broad spectrum of its anthelmintic action against larval and mature stages of development of intestinal nematodes (Toxocara canis, Toxocara mistax, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Trichuris vulpis, Ancylostoma caninum) and cestodes (Echinococcus granulosus, Alveococus multilocularis, Mesocestoides lineatus, Dipylidium caninum, Diphyllobotrium latum, Multiceps multiceps), larval stages of development (microfilariae) of Dirofilaria immitis and Dirofilaria repens, parasitizing dogs and cats. Prescribed for adult dogs and cats, puppies and kittens for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes for intestinal nematodosis (toxocariasis, toxascariasis, uncinariasis, ancylostomiasis, trichuriasis), cestodiasis (taeniasis, dipylidiasis, echinococcosis, diphyllobothriasis, mesocestoidiasis) and associated nematode-cestodial infestations, as well as for the prevention of dirofilariasis. Gelmintal T is administered orally individually, during the morning feeding with a small amount of food, or forcefully administered to the root of the tongue after feeding at the minimum therapeutic dose of 0.2 mg moxidectin and 5 mg praziquantel per 1 kg of animal weight, at the rate specified in the instructions. Contraindications include hypersensitivity to any of the drug's components, including a history of hypersensitivity, and severe renal or hepatic impairment. Deworming should not be administered to emaciated animals, dogs, or cats weighing less than 0.5 kg, as well as those suffering from infectious diseases. Due to the increased sensitivity of these breeds to macrocyclic lactones, the use of Helminthal T in collie, sheltie, and bobtail puppies should be carried out under the supervision of a veterinarian.

Гельминтал Т применяют перорально индивидуально, в утреннее кормление с небольшим количеством корма или вводят принудительно на корень языка после кормления в минимальной терапевтической дозе 0,2 мг моксидектина и 5 мг празиквантела на 1 кг массы животного, из расчета, указанного в инструкции. Противопоказанием к применению является повышенная индивидуальная чувствительность животного к компонентам препарата, в том числе в анамнезе, выраженные нарушения функции почек и печени. Не подлежат дегельминтизации истощенные, больные инфекционными болезнями животные, собаки и кошки массой менее 0,5 кг. Применение Гельминтала Т щенкам собак пород колли, шелти, бобтейл, ввиду повышенной чувствительности этих пород к макроциклическим лактонам, проводится под наблюдением ветеринарного врача.
