The Harry Gill Legacy

Gill Athletics was founded by two-time NCAA national champion coach (University of Illinois) Harry Gill, in 1918. Unsatisfied with the quality of track equipment available, he crafted the first piece of his own track equipment, the ash javelin. In four short years, Gill became the first company to manufacture a complete line of track equipment. Gill Athletics is responsible for a long list of innovative equipment that has been instrumental in elevating the sport and performance of track athletes worldwide.
