Mao Feng is a classic tea from China's Yunnan province. Translated, the name translates as "hairy tips," and this is no coincidence, as the buds of the tea bushes are used in its production. Compared to the leaves, the tips are longer, sharper, and covered with a silvery fuzz. But it is precisely these tips that distinguish this elite red tea from other varieties. It has a floral, honeyed flavor, with noticeable notes of vanilla. Each sip leaves a lingering, slightly sweet aftertaste.
