The aroma inhaler is simple in design and operation, safe, and intended for the prevention and treatment of upper respiratory tract diseases, cardiovascular, nervous, endocrine, and immune system conditions, as well as for room scenting. Treatment and prevention are achieved by naturally inhaling the aromas of essential oils or medicinal mixtures (which are vaporized) through the mouth or nose at the desired temperature. The depth of the medicinal mixture’s penetration into the respiratory tract depends on the strength of the inhalation, which can be adjusted during use. Essential oils and medicinal mixtures are selected by a healthcare provider based on the illness and individual contraindications. Due to its compact size, light weight, and independence from external power sources, the aroma inhaler can be used at home, on the road, at work, or while traveling. During the inhalation process, it does not produce steam that can burn the facial skin or the mucous membranes of the eyes. Preparation for Use: 1. Before use, rinse the inhaler with hot water. If the inhaler has been used by someone else, it should be boiled for 3-5 minutes, dried, and allowed to cool. 2. Pour 1-2 ml of medicinal mixture through the nozzle into the inhaler, ensuring the level is below the start of the large chamber. For essential oils, add 1-5 drops to 2 ml of water. 3. If necessary, immerse the device in a container of hot water (e.g., a glass) before starting the inhalation. 4. After use, discard the medicinal mixture through the nozzle. Essential oils can be used until fully evaporated. 5. Sterilization and cleaning are done by boiling in water or washing and rinsing with alcohol. Inhalation Methods: * Through the Mouth: Place the mouthpiece in your mouth, inhale through the mouth (drawing air from the inhaler), and exhale through the nose. * Through the Nose: Attach the special nozzle to the mouthpiece using an adapter. Inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth. Inhalation Duration: * Each method: 5-7 minutes every 3 hours, unless otherwise directed by a healthcare provider. If necessary, the interval between inhalations can be reduced to 1 hour. Continue treatment until full recovery or until instructed otherwise by a healthcare provider. Do not perform inhalations immediately after eating or physical exertion; wait at least 1-2 hours. After inhalation, rest for 15-20 minutes (30-40 minutes in cold weather). Avoid straining the vocal cords and smoking for 1-2 hours after inhalation. For Individual or Family Aroma Procedures (Cold Prevention): * Place the lower part of the inhaler in a glass of hot water (65-75°C / 149-167°F). After 20-25 minutes, the room (volume 18-20 m³ / 635-706 ft³) will be filled with a fragrance concentration of 1 mg/m³ of air. For all methods of breathing air infused with aromas, the procedure lasts 20-30 minutes, with a course of 10-12 sessions. Repeat the course monthly. Contraindications for Inhalations: * Essential oils and medicinal mixtures should be selected by a healthcare provider based on the illness and individual contraindications. Avoid aroma inhalations through the nose during nasal bleeding. Care and Maintenance: * The inhaler, being made of glass, requires careful handling. Recommended for use by children over 3 years old under adult supervision. **Procedures are conducted according to the approved Ministry of Health of Ukraine guidelines “Use of Volatile Plant Aromatic Substances for Preventive Purposes,” authored by Y.S. Korolenko, S.S. Soldatchenko, O.Ye. Yermolenko, V.V. Mykolaivskyi, M.I. Hovorun. Published by the Crimean Republican Research Institute named after I.M. Sechenov, Yalta, 1995. Application and Dosage of Essential Oils and Mixtures: * Inhalation and Aromatherapy: 3-4 drops per 50-60 m³ * Baths, Saunas: 3-4 drops per 50-60 m³ * Bath: 3-6 drops, temperature 35°C (95°F) * Compresses: 4-6 drops in 50-200 ml of hot water * Massage: 6-12 drops in 50 g of oil * Tea and Other Beverages: 1-2 drops per 200 mlPreparation for Use: Before use, rinse the inhaler with hot water.
