- How do you put these shoe covers on?
These overshoes are put on before you put on your shoes. The wide hook and loop fastener at the sole allows you to easily get them on and off and adjust them to your shoes. On the packaging, we have included a detailed step-by-step guide on how to put them on.
- What type of shoes is the RaceThermo compatible with and which size do I need?
The GripGrab RaceThermo Overshoe was developed for road cycling shoes like Specialized S-Works Road, Gaerne G Stilo, Shimano S-Phyre, and Sidi Wire & Co and usually fits the shoe size of these shoes. Please consult the size guide in the product images for further information. It is NOT compatible with MTB, trail, trekking, or everyday shoes like sneakers and trainers. For racy MTB/CX shoes, please have a look at the off-road version, the RaceThermo X.
- What is the IntelliSeal Technology?
IntelliSeal is a rubberized coating of the binding at the bottom of the shoe cover. This prevents the shoe cover from wicking away the rainwater from the road and results in a warmer and dryer construction. It also allows the shoe cover to sit tighter around the sole of the shoe and therefore making it harder for water to get inside the shoe cover from the bottom. Lastly, the rubber coating provides durable protection from wear and tear and makes the stitches last longer, adding to the overall durability of the shoe covers.
- Why is there no zipper at the rear?
A zipper can break, which can't happen if you don't have one. There also is no chaffing or rubbing, which could in some cases lead to rider discomfort. Despite the best efforts, zippers often are a weak point when it comes to water resistance. The new design allows the shoe cover to sit tightly around the leg and the shoe, making it more difficult for water to run down the leg and into the shoe cover.
- Is the safety light included in the delivery?
No, these shoe covers come without the safety light.
