Test, test and test again; HABA toys undergo both our in-house quality testing as well as that of certified CPSIA approved 3rd party testing institutes. For wooden toys, these include choke tube tests, soaking tests, tensile tests, impact and drop tests (after being compromised by water to replicate prolonged saliva exposure). Fabric and plastic toys undergo rigorous testing to all applicable safety standards as well. Regardless of where a toy is made, the tests at HABA go far beyond the legal requirements. You can trust HABA even when it doesn't say "Made in Germany" on the package.
