This is a soft, light-toned Turkish coffee made from the Brazilian Arabica variety Ria Minas, which is roasted less finely than Turkish coffee. Its main difference from other coffees is that it is brewed like Turkish coffee, poured into a cup, and then served with the Halis Kuruyemis Cilveli Sultan Coffee special blend.

STORY: Flirty coffee has a place in history as a coffee specially prepared for princes. It gained its true fame thanks to the brides in their wedding dresses. During the Ottoman period, when a girl was going to ask for a hand in marriage, if she was interested, she would make this coffee if not, she would offer ordinary coffee. Thus, if the bride's father saw Flirty Coffee, he would say "OK" without asking his daughters. If he was offered ordinary coffee, he would say "OUR DAUGHTER DOESN'T WANT IT" and send the suitors back.

RECIPE

• Measure cold drinking water from a coffee cup and pour it into a cezve (cezve).

• Add 3 teaspoons of coffee for each cup, and add sugar to taste.

• Cook over low heat until foam forms.

• Divide the foam equally among the cups, bring the coffee in the cezve to a boil again, and pour into the cups.

• Add a heaping teaspoon of Haci Halis Efendi Flirty Sultan Coffee Special Blend to the coffee served in the cups.

STORAGE CONDITIONS

• Because coffee absorbs odors in its environment, it should be stored in a closed glass jar.

• Consume within 3 months after opening the package.

• To preserve the aroma and flavor of your coffee, do not mix it with other Turkish coffees.

• Store your coffee in a cool, dry place.

• Do not refrigerate.

Osmanli döneminde kiz istemeye gidildiginde, eger kizlarin gönlü varsa bu kahveden yapar, yoksada siradan kahve ikram edermis, Böylece kiz babalari Cilveli Kahveyi görürse kizlarina sormadan "TAMAM" diyerek kizlarini verir, eger normal kahve gelirse de "KIZIMIZ ISTEMIYOR" diyerek görücüleri geri gönderirmis.
