HOW IS HURMALAB DATE SYRUP PRODUCED?
Date syrup production begins with selecting fresh, ripe dates. The dates are then washed, pitted, and boiled with water. This process allows the sugars within the dates to liquefy. The resulting date juice is then boiled again at low heat until it thickens. Finally, the syrup, once it has reached its desired consistency, is cooled to room temperature, stored in suitable containers, and prepared for sale to the end consumer.

- It can be used as a sweetener on breakfast foods like pancakes, waffles, and granola bowls.
- It's an ideal sweetener for desserts and snacks. For example, it can be used in cookies, cakes, muffins, and ice cream. It is used instead of refined sugar when preparing syrup-based desserts.

Important:
Store Date Syrup at room temperature (20-25 degrees).
It thickens over time and crystallization may occur in the product.
Do not refrigerate, otherwise it may crystallize.
This does not mean that the product has spoiled.
It returns to its original state after soaking in hot water in a bain-marie.
