CASTOIL (Ricinus communis L.)
It is a plant species from the euphorbiaceae family, originating from India, obtained from castor tree seeds. It is known as Castor Oil in English. Since castor oil contains plenty of antioxidants, it prevents the development of free radicals. It is easily soluble in alcohol.
Since Castor Oil is difficult to digest, it is not used as cooking oil. It is widely used in medicine. The composition of the oil is Ricinoleic acid.
