Katirli Village, located in the Gemlik district of Bursa province, holds a special place in the region for table olive cultivation due to its soil fertility and the geographical structure of the land. Olive cultivation is carried out 450 meters above sea level (in a highland environment), far from the industrial zone. The villagers' olives are marketed through their own cooperative. The Gemlik Katirli Village Agricultural Development Cooperative, known as Tar-Koop, was established in 1981 and began operations in 1982. The cooperative, which receives raw olives from its own village, prepares them in its own warehouses, processes them in accordance with food regulations, and sells them. The product processed by the cooperative has very good characteristics.

Gemlik Katirli Köyü Tarimsal Kalkinma Kooperatifi kisaca Tar-Koop 1981 yilinda kurulmus 1982 yilinda faaliyete geçmistir. Kendi köyünden ham olarak aldigi zeytinlerini kooperatif kendi özel depolarinda hazirlayip gida yönetmeligine uygun olarak isleyerek satisa sunmaktadir.
