There are three types of coffee produced in Yemen: Ismaili, Mocha Sanani, and Mocha Mattari. Each has its own unique aroma. These beans, suitable for many brewing methods and roasting profiles, are grown in the Bani Ismail region at altitudes of 2,000 meters and above. Traditional methods, which have been around for years, are used in coffee production in the region. Coffee cherries are dried on house roofs and then separated from the beans in drums. Peaberry beans are separated one by one by hand. They yield very successful results in a wide range of products, from filter coffee to Turkish coffee.

What is a peaberry?
There are usually two coffee beans inside a coffee cherry. When a single bean is found, it is called a "peaberry." Because an average of 5 of peaberry beans are found on a coffee tree, these beans are quite valuable.

Peaberry nedir?
