Horse chestnuts (Aesculus hippocastanum) generally grow in Central and Southern Europe, particularly in Bulgaria, Albania, and Greece. This highly prized tree has a very impressive crown, especially in early summer when soft pink to white flowers cover the tree in a sea of blossoms. Horse chestnut bark is harvested from medium-thick branches in late summer and then quickly dried. The pieces of bark are then transported to Germany and cut to a uniform size here. Horse chestnut bark contains the well-known compound aescin. Horse chestnut bark is used as a water extractor, in alcohol extracts, and in tea blends. It is also suitable as a bath additive. The horse chestnut bark comes from sustainably managed trees and is harvested gently.

DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT Les marrons d'Inde (Aesculus hippocastanum) poussent généralement en Europe centrale et méridionale, notamment en Bulgarie, en Albanie et en Grèce. L'arbre très précieux a une couronne très impressionnante. Surtout au début de l'été, lorsque les fleurs roses douces à blanches plongent l'arbre dans une mer de fleurs. L'écorce de marronnier est récoltée par des branches d'épaisseur moyenne à la fin de l'été et finie par un séchage rapide. Les morceaux d'écorce viennent ainsi en Allemagne et sont découpés chez nous à une taille homogène. L'écorce de marronnier contient la célèbre aescine. L'écorce de marronnier est utilisée comme extracteur d'eau, extrait d'alcool ou dans les mélanges de thé. L'écorce de châtaignier est également adaptée comme additif pour le bain. L'écorce de marronnier d'Inde provient d'arbres contrôlés et est collectée en douceur.
