Angel's sweet root, also known as tortoise fern root, is harvested from the fern (Polypodium vulgare). This fern grows primarily in birch and oak forests, in large clumps close to the ground. Les racines sucrées d'anges ont un goût sucré, d'où leur nom provient. Dans la guérison naturelle, la racine sucrée d'ange est utilisée comme thé.
