Lapachote is harvested from the Lapacho tree (Tabebuia impetiginosa). The Lapacho tree, also known as Pau d'Aco, is found in the tropical forests of South America. The bark is harvested from the wild, with strict care taken to ensure the regeneration of the Lapacho trees. During harvesting, the outer bark and the raffia layer are removed. The Lapachote is then sun-dried and packed in cloth bags. The Lapachote bark is then shipped to Germany. It is used to make Lapachote tea. Lapachote contains lapchol, dehydro-a-apachone, and dehydro-iso-a-apachone, which are naphthochin derivatives. It also contains characteristic flavonoids, iridoids, and saponins. Lapachote is infused with hot water pour 3 to 4 teaspoons of lapachote into 1 liter of hot water and let it steep for 5 minutes. Lapachote bark is also used as a bath additive pour 5 grams of lapachote bark into 1 liter of water and let it steep for 15 minutes before adding it to the bathwater. Lapachote is free of pollutants and has a shelf life of at least 24 months.

Le lapachotee contient du lapchol, du déshydro-a-apachone, du déshydro-iso-a apachone, qui sont des dérivés de naphthochine. Il contient notamment des flavonoïdes, des iridoïdes et des saponines caractéristiques. Le Lapachote est infusé avec de l'eau chaude et versez 3 à 4 cuillères à café lapachote avec 1 litre d'eau chaude. Le lapachote doit infuser 5 minutes.
