Dandelion root is harvested in April and May and air-dried after washing. Cut dandelion root contains vitamins, bitter substances, seeds, and sterols. In addition, dandelion roots contain carotenes, flavonoids, tannins, minerals, and trace elements. Dandelion root is used to make dandelion root tea.
