Calmus (Acorus calmus) grows wild along riverbanks and coastal areas and is harvested in India and Eastern Europe. After harvesting, the calmus roots are cleaned and air-dried. Once dry, the roots are finely ground. Calmus root contains up to 9 essential oils, the bitter glycoside acorin, and up to 1 tannins, slime, and starch. It is used as a tea and as an additive in ointments and tinctures. To prepare the tea, pour 1 to 2 teaspoons of ground calmus root over 250 ml of hot water and let it steep for 8 minutes. Calmus tea is not recommended during pregnancy. Calmus root is also valued as a spice in jams and fruit preparations. Its sweet, herby flavor is quite appealing. Calm roots are grown using controlled methods and are free of pollutants. Calm roots can be stored for at least 24 months. Use: Food.

DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT Le calme (Acorus calmus) pousse sauvage au niveau des rivières et des marins et est récolté en Inde et en Europe de l'Est. Après la collection, les racines de calme sont nettoyées et séchées à l'air. Après séchage, les racines de calme sont finement broyées. La racine de calme contient jusqu'à 9 d'huiles essentielles, l'Acorine glycoside amère, jusqu'à 1 de tanins, de slime et d'amidon. Utilisé comme thé, additif dans les pommades et teintures. Pour la préparation du thé, 1 à 2 cuillères à café de racines de calme moulues sont versées avec 250 ml d'eau chaude et laissées infuser pendant 8 minutes. Le plaisir de Kalmustee pendant la grossesse n'est pas recommandé. La racine de calme est également appréciée comme épices dans les confitures ou les préparations de fruits. Le goût sucré d'herbe est très intéressant. Les racines de calme proviennent de culture contrôlée et sont exemptes de polluants. Les racines de calme peuvent être conservées au moins 24 mois.
