The Asian version of the Wassernabel (Centella Asiatica) comes from the topical regions around the equator.Originally, the water tab, but from India and China.The water tabbery is harvested all year round by river banks and damp areas.After the harvest, the waters' herb is quickly dried and cut into us into pieces of approx. 6 mm. The water tabbar contains saponins such as Asiaticoside.There are also some triterpenes, glycosides and essential oils. Die asiatische Version des Wassernabels ( Centella asiatica ) kommt aus den topischen Regionen rund um den Äquator. Ursprunglich stammt das Wassernabelkraut aber aus Indien und China. Geerntet wird das Wassernabelkraut ganzjährig von Flussufern und feuchten Flächen. Nach der Ernte wird das Wassernabelkraut rasch luftgetrocknet und bei uns in ca. 6 mm große Stücke geschnitten. Das Wassernabelkraut enthält Saponine wie z.B. Asiaticosid. Daneben sind einige Triterpene, Glykoside und ätherische Öle enthalten. Das Wassernabelkraut wird für Teeauszüge und Extrakte verwendet. Als Teeaufguss werden 0,33-0,68 g (entspricht ca. 1-2 Teelöffel) pro Tasse mit kochendem Wasser übergossen und 10 Minuten ziehen gelassen. Von dem Wassernabeltee sind 3 Tassen pro Tag zu empfehlen. Das Wassernabelkraut stammt aus kontrollierten Wildsammlungen.
