The mechanism of action of praziquantel, which is part of the drug, is the depolarization of neuromuscular ganglionic blockers, disruption of glucose transport and microturbular function in cestodes, which leads to disruption of muscle innervation, paralysis and death of the parasite.

Praziquantel is rapidly absorbed in the intestines and distributed throughout internal organs and tissues; it is excreted in the urine, primarily in metabolized form.

Pyrantel embonate has a pronounced nematocidal effect, causing increased permeability of cell membranes, irreversible paralysis, and contracture of nematode muscles, which leads to the death of the parasite and facilitates its elimination from the gastrointestinal tract.

Pyrantel embonate is partially absorbed in the intestines, rapidly metabolized, and excreted primarily in the feces.

Dehinel tablets for cats are prescribed for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes for nematodosis (toxocariasis, toxascariasis, ancylostomiasis) and cestodiasis (taeniasis, dipylidiasis, echinococcosis, mesocestodiasis).

Contraindications include hypersensitivity to any of the drug's components (including a history of hypersensitivity). Kittens weighing less than 1 kg should not be dewormed.

Порядок применения Дехинел таблетки для кошек назначают кошкам с лечебной и профилактической целью при нематодозах (токсокароз, токсаскаридоз. анкилостомоз) и цестодозах (тениидозы, дипилидиоз, эхинококкозы, мезоцестойдоз).

Противопоказанием к применению является индивидуальная повышенная чувствительность животного к компонентам препарата (в том числе в анамнезе). Не подлежат дегельминтизации котята массой менее 1 кг.
