Dehinel Plus meat-flavored tablets belong to a group of combined anthelmintic drugs.

The combination of febantel, pyrantel embonate, and praziquantel, included in the drug, provides a broad spectrum of anthelmintic action against nematodes and cestodes parasitizing the gastrointestinal tract of dogs.

Febantel belongs to the probenzimidazoles, which are biotransformed in the body into benzimidazoles.

It is active against nematodes of the genera Ancylostoma, Uncinaria, Toxocara, Toxascaris, and Trichocephalus.

The mechanism of action is based on the inhibition of the enzyme fumarate reductase in the mitochondria of helminths, resulting in disruption of glucose absorption and tubulin protein synthesis, which leads to the destruction of the microtubular apparatus of parasite cells, causing its death.

Febantel is absorbed in the intestine, metabolized in the liver and excreted with bile into the intestinal lumen, where it is partially reabsorbed; it is excreted from the body both unchanged and as several metabolites with feces and urine.

Directions for use Dehinel Plus tablets with meat flavor are used in dogs for prophylactic and therapeutic purposes for nematodosis (toxocariasis, toxascariasis, uncinariasis, ancylostomiasis, trichuriasis) and cestodiasis (taeniasis, dipylidiasis, echinococcosis, diphyllobothriasis, mesocestodiasis).

Contraindications for use include increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug (including history) and severe renal and hepatic impairment.

Animals that are emaciated, have infectious diseases, or weigh less than 0.5 kg should not be dewormed.

Do not use the drug on puppies during the first three weeks of life or on pregnant bitches during the first two-thirds of the period.

During lactation and the last third of pregnancy, the drug should be used under the supervision of a veterinarian. Dosage: Dehinel Plus meat-flavored tablets are administered to dogs individually orally once during the morning feeding at a rate of 1 tablet per 10 kg of animal weight.

Порядок применения Дехинел Плюс таблетки со вкусом мяса применяют собакам с профилактической и лечебной целью при нематодозах (токсокароз, токсаскаридоз, унцинариоз, анкилостомоз, трихоцефалез) и цестодозах (тениидозы, дипилидиоз, эхинококкозы, дифиллоботриоз, мезоцестодоз).

Противопоказанием к применению является повышенная индивидуальная чувствительность животного к компонентам препарата (в том числе в анамнезе) и выраженные нарушения функции почек и печени. Не подлежат дегельминтизации истощенные, больные инфекционными болезнями и массой менее 0,5 кг животные.

Не допускается применение препарата щенкам в первые три недели жизни и щенным сукам первые две трети периода. В период лактации и последнюю треть беременности препарат применяют под наблюдением ветеринарного врача.

Дозировка Дехинел Плюс таблетки со вкусом мяса применяют собакам индивидуально перорально однократно в утреннее кормление из расчета 1 таблетка на 10 кг массы животного
