Fiprist Combo is a drop applied to the withers to protect dogs from ticks, fleas, and lice with enhanced flea control.

Contains (S)-methoprene, an insect growth regulator that acts on the larval stages of fleas and prevents their development into adult fleas in the environment, to prevent reinfection of the animal.

How does Fiprist Combo work?

After a single treatment, fipronil and (S)-methoprene are gradually distributed over the entire surface of the body, practically without being absorbed into the systemic bloodstream, and accumulate in the skin, hair follicles, sebaceous glands and wool.

Fiprist Combo has a contact mechanism of action: when parasites come into contact with the wool and skin of the treated animal, GABA-dependent receptors of arthropods are blocked, the transmission of nerve impulses is disrupted, which leads to paralysis and death of parasites without the need for a bite.

(S)-methoprene is an insect growth regulator, disrupts the synthesis of chitin at the stages of eggs and larvae of fleas, preventing their development into adults.

Fiprist Combo is applied by a single application to dry, intact skin.

The tip of the pipette is pierced with an inverted cap, then the animal's fur is parted in the withers area (between the shoulder blades) and the preparation is applied to the skin by pressing the pipette in one or more points.

A single treatment of an animal ensures the destruction of fleas and ticks within 24 and 48 hours, respectively.

Repeat treatments are carried out as indicated, but not more often than once every four weeks.

To prevent reinfestation of animals with fleas, it is recommended to treat all dogs and cats living together.

Resolving a flea problem may require several months of regular treatments, depending on the degree of infestation of the animal's habitat with flea eggs and larvae.

Regular thorough cleaning of the premises and pet's personal items can reduce the number of flea eggs and larvae for better treatment results.

Как действует Фиприст Комбо?

После однократной обработки фипронил и (S)-метопрен постепенно распределяются по всей поверхности тела, практически не всасываясь в системный кровоток, и накапливаются в коже, волосяных луковицах, сальных железах и шерсти.

Фиприст Комбо обладает контактным механизмом действия: при контакте паразитов с шерстью и кожей обработанного животного происходит блокирование ГАМК-зависимых рецепторов членистоногих, нарушается передача нервных импульсов, что приводит к параличу и гибели паразитов без необходимости укуса.

(S)-метопрен является регулятором роста насекомых, нарушает синтез хитина на стадиях яиц и личинок блох, предотвращая их развитие во взрослых особей.

Фиприст Комбо применяют путем однократного нанесения на сухую неповрежденную кожу. Кончик пипетки прокалывают перевернутым колпачком, затем раздвигают у животного шерсть в области холки (между лопатками) и нажатием на пипетку наносят препарат на кожу в одну или несколько точек.

Однократная обработка животного обеспечивает уничтожение блох и клещей в течение 24 и 48 часов соответственно. Повторные обработки проводят по показаниям, но не чаще одного раза в четыре недели.

В целях предотвращения повторного заражения животных блохами рекомендуется обрабатывать всех совместно проживающих собак и кошек. Для решения проблемы блох может потребоваться несколько месяцев регулярных обработок в зависимости от степени зараженности места обитания животного яйцами и личинками блох.

Регулярная тщательная уборка помещений и предметов обихода животного могут снизить количество яиц и личинок блох для достижения лучшего результата обработок.
