Milprazone tablets for dogs.

Milprazone tablets for dogs are prescribed for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes for nematodosis, cestodiasis and associative nematode-cestodosis infestations caused by the following types of helminths:

cestodes - Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus spp., Mesocestoides spp.;

nematodes - Ancylostoma caninum, Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Trichuris vulpis, Thelazia callipaeda; Angiostrongylus vasorum (reduces the intensity of infection), Crenosoma vulpis (reduces the intensity of infection), Dirofilaria immitis (disease prevention).

Milprazone tablets for dogs are used once during feeding with a small amount of food or are administered forcibly to the root of the tongue after feeding.

Animal weight/tablets for dogs weighing over 5 kg 5-25 kg - 1 tablet 25-50 kg - 2 tablets 50-75 kg - 3 tablets

A preliminary fasting diet and the use of laxatives before deworming are not required.

For deworming dogs with an invasion caused by Angiostrongylus vasorum, Milprazone tablets for dogs are used for therapeutic purposes four times with an interval of 7 days, for prophylaxis - every 4 weeks at a therapeutic dose.

For deworming dogs with an invasion caused by Thelazsia callipaeda, the drug is used twice with an interval of 7 days.

For the prevention of dirofilariasis in regions unfavorable for the disease, the drug is used in the spring-summer-autumn period: before the onset of the flight of mosquitoes and midges (carriers of the pathogen D.

immitis) once, then once a month and the last time in the season 1 month after the end of the insect flight.

Contraindications for use are individual hypersensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug (including in the anamnesis), severe impairment of kidney and liver function.

Exhausted animals and animals sick with infectious diseases are not subject to deworming.

The drug can be used in pregnant and lactating animals.

The drug should not be used in puppies under 2 weeks of age and weighing less than 0.5 kg.

Милпразон таблетки для собак назначают с лечебной и профилактической целью при нематодозах, цестодозах и ассоциативных нематодо-цестодозных инвазиях, вызванных гельминтами следующих видов:

цестоды — Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus spp., Mesocestoides spp.;

нематоды — Ancylostoma caninum, Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Trichuris vulpis, Thelazia callipaeda; Angiostrongylus vasorum (снижает интенсивность заражения), Crenosoma vulpis (снижает интенсивность заражения), Dirofilaria immitis (профилактика заболевания).

Милпразон таблетки для собак применяют однократно во время кормления с небольшим количеством корма или вводят принудительно на корень языка после кормления.

Предварительной голодной диеты и применения слабительных средств перед дегельминтизацией не требуется.

Для дегельминтизации собак при инвазии, вызванной Angiostrongylus vasorum, Милпразон таблетки для собак применяют с лечебной целью четырехкратно с интервалом 7 суток, с целью профилактики — каждые 4 недели в терапевтической дозе.

Для дегельминтизации собак при инвазии, вызванной Thelazsia callipaeda, препарат применяют двукратно с интервалом 7 суток.

С целью профилактики дирофиляриоза в неблагополучных по заболеванию регионах препарат применяют в весенне-летне-осенний период: перед началом лёта комаров и москитов (переносчиков возбудителя D. immitis) однократно, затем один раз в месяц и последний раз в сезоне через 1 месяц после завершения лёта насекомых.

Противопоказанием к применению является индивидуальная повышенная чувствительность животного к компонентам препарата (в том числе в анамнезе), выраженные нарушения функции почек и печени. Не подлежат дегельминтизации истощенные и больные инфекционными болезнями животные.

Препарат можно применять беременным и лактирующим животным. Не следует применять препарат щенкам моложе 2-недельного возраста и массой менее 0,5 кг.
