Milprazone is a broad-spectrum drug against intestinal, as well as heart, lung, and eye helminths in dogs.

The active ingredients in the drug provide its broad-spectrum anthelmintic action.

Milbemycin oxime is a macrocyclic lactone obtained as a result of the enzymatic activity of Streptomyces hygroscopicus var.

Aureolacrimosus, is active against larvae and imagoes of nematodes parasitizing in the gastrointestinal tract of dogs, as well as larvae of the nematode Dirofilaria immitis.

Praziquantel is an acylated derivative of pyrazinoisoquinoline, has a pronounced effect against cestodes and nematodes.

Order of administration

Prescribed for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes for nematodosis, cestodiasis and associative nematode-cestodal infestations caused by helminths of the following types: cestodes - Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus spp., Mesocestoides spp.; Nematodes - Ancylostoma caninum, Toxocara canis, Toxocara leonina, Trichuris vulpis, Thelazia callipaeda; Angiostrongylus vasorum (reduces the intensity of infection), Crenosoma vulpis (reduces the intensity of infection), Dirofilaria immitis (disease prevention).

Contraindications for use are individual hypersensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug (including in the anamnesis), severe impairment of kidney and liver function.

Exhausted animals and animals sick with infectious diseases are not subject to deworming.

Deworming of collie, bobtail and sheltie puppies, if necessary, is carried out under the supervision of a veterinarian.

The drug can be used in pregnant and lactating animals.

The drug should not be used in puppies under 2 weeks of age and weighing less than 0.5 kg.

Dosage Milprazon is used once during feeding with a small amount of food or is administered forcibly to the root of the tongue after feeding at a minimum therapeutic dose of 0.5 mg milbemycin oxime and 5 mg praziquantel per 1 kg of animal weight, at the rate of:

0.5-1 kg - 1/2 tablet

1-5 kg - 1 tablet

5-10 kg - 2 tablets

Милпразон - препарат широкого спектра действия против кишечных, а также сердечных, легочных и глазных гельминтов для собак. Входящие в состав препарата активные компоненты обеспечивают его широкий спектр антигельминтного действия.

Порядок применения

Назначают с лечебной и профилактической целью при нематодозах, цестодозах и ассоциативных нематодо-цестодозных инвазиях, вызванных гельминтами следующих видов: цестоды - Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus spp., Mesocestoides spp.; нематоды - Ancylostoma caninum, Toxocara canis, Toxocara leonina, Trichuris vulpis, Thelazia callipaeda; Angiostrongylus vasorum (снижает интенсивность заражения), Crenosoma vulpis (снижает интенсивность заражения), Dirofilaria immitis (профилактика заболевания).

Противопоказанием к применению является индивидуальная повышенная чувствительность животного к компонентам препарата (в том числе в анамнезе), выраженные нарушения функции почек и печени. Не подлежат дегельментизации истощенные и больные инфекционными болезнями животные.

Дегельминтизацию щенков породы колли, бобтейл и шелти при необходимости проводят под наблюдением ветеринарного врача.

Препарат можно применять беременным и лактирующим животным. Не следует применять препарат щенкам моложе 2-недельного возраста и массой менее 0,5 кг.

Дозировка Милпразон применяют однократно во время кормления с небольшим количеством корма или вводят принудительно на корень языка после кормления в минимальной терапевтической дозе 0,5 мг мильбемицина оксима и 5 мг празиквантела на 1 кг массы животного, из расчета:
