A washed Rwanda, one of the most special coffees in our Nordic Approach series, with a clean taste and soft body. Bright acidity accompanied by a clean and silky body make Gatsibo a special Rwandan coffee.

FARM INFORMATION:

Tom Bagaza founded Coffee Villages in the Gatsibo region in 2008. A native of the region, Bagaza saw coffee as an opportunity to sustainably invest in his community. He established the washing station to work with farmers who purchased his coffee cherries and create jobs for them during the harvest, processing the cherries. Since then, Tom has invested a significant portion of his annual profits into expanding the washing station's capacity, and the station has now grown significantly. Additionally, with the support of coffee buyers, Tom established a clean water system to provide his community with access to clean water.

ÇIFTLIK BILGISI:

Tom Bagaza, 2008 yilinda Gatsibo bölgesindeki kahve köylerini (Coffee Villages) kurdu. Bölgenin yerlisi olan Bagaza, kahveyi kendi toplumuna sürdürülebilir bir sekilde yatirim yapmak için bir firsat olarak gördü. Kahve kirazlarini satin alan çiftçilerle çalismak ve hasat sirasinda kirazlari islemek için onlara istihdam yaratmak amaciyla yikama istasyonunu kurdu.
