The Putharjhora tea garden was established over 140 years ago in the Dooars region, southeast of Darjeeling, and remains privately owned by the family-run Tea Promoters company. Nestled between the Chel and Rinchington mountain rivers, the garden has been cultivated and produced here exclusively according to organic guidelines for nearly 25 years. Thanks to its strategic location between the foothills of the Himalayas and the flatter plains of the Ganges, the tea boasts the delicate spice of Assam combined with the subtly sweet aroma of Darjeeling.
