Pai Mu Tan tea balls are characterized by their sweetness, delicate texture, and light flavor. The leaves can also be described as a medium to large, brown yellow-green color blend, rolled into balls. Pai Mu Tan tea balls are particularly distinguished by their cup color: a pale golden to orange, transparent. This tea also has its own unique characteristics: the tea for this white tea comes from the Da Hao Cha bushes. Larger, aromatic leaves, approximately two years old, are used.
