With summer temperatures of 23 C to 25 C during the day and 15 C to 19 C at night, the Puttabong Estate offers the ideal environment for tea cultivation. The plant stock consists of 65 Thea sinensis and 35 Thea assamica, resulting in an unparalleled tasting experience. Of a total area of 892 hectares, only 437 hectares are managed to ensure that every tea bush is optimally cared for. The sandy loam soils with a pH of 4.5 to 5.5 ensure healthy growth of the tea leaves.
