Atopic Dermatitis (Eczema)

A chronic, inflammatory skin disease in which dryness and itching occur is called atopic dermatitis (atopic eczema). It is seen in 10-15 of children and 2-10 of adults. Its most distinctive feature is dry and itchy skin. The reason for this is that the protective layer on the upper layer of the skin is damaged and the skin loses its moisture. We can compare the body skin to the wall of a house. Just as there are bricks and the mortar that holds the bricks together in a wall, there are skin cells and lipids (oils) in our skin. We can think of the cells in our skin as bricks, and lipids as the mortar that holds the bricks together and gives strength to the wall. Lipids They are important structures that settle between the cells in the top layer of our skin and strengthen the protective layer of the skin by combining with water. They act as a mortar by being located between the cells in the top layer of the skin, gluing the skin cells together and providing strength to the protective layer of the skin. Lipids found in the skin are one of the most important components of the upper layer of the skin. The most important of these lipids is linoleic acid, which is found most abundantly in the skin. Linoleic acid is a very important fatty acid for the skin that must be obtained from outside, from plant sources, as it cannot be synthesized within the human body. When the linoleic acid in the skin decreases, chronic skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis may occur. Replacing the missing fatty acids and moisturizing the skin improves the quality of life in children and adults with dry skin.

Linoleic acid It is a very important fatty acid for the skin. In its deficiency, the protective layer of the skin may deteriorate and dryness, itching and redness due to dryness may occur due to excessive water loss. Linoleic acid obtained from plant sources helps prevent water loss in children and adults with dry skin, reduces dryness, itching and redness due to dryness, and helps restore lost moisture to the skin. In addition, for children and adults with dry skin, using bath products containing linoleic acid helps relieve dryness, itching and redness that may occur after bathing.

Atopik Dermatit (Egzama)

Kuruluk ve kasintinin görüldügü kronik, enflamatuar deri hastaligina atopik dermatit (atopik egzema) denir. Çocuklarin 10-15'inde, eriskinlerin ise 2-10'nunda görülür. En belirgin özelligi kuru ve kasintili bir deridir. Bunun nedeni de derinin üst tabakasinda yer alan koruyucu tabakanin zarar görmesi ve derinin nemini kaybetmesidir. Vücut derisini bir evin duvarina benzetebiliriz. Nasil ki bir duvarda tuglalar ve tuglalari bir arada tutan harç var ise derimizde de deri hücreleri ve lipidler (yaglar) bulunur. Deride bulunan lipidler, derinin en üst tabakasinin en önemli bilesenlerindendir. Bu lipidlerin en önemlisi deride en yogun bulunan linoleik asittir. Linoleik asit, insan bünyesinde sentez edilemedigi için disaridan, bitkisel kaynaklardan alinmasi gereken deri için çok önemli bir yag asididir. Deride var olan linoleik asit azalinca atopik dermatit gibi kronik deri hastaliklari ortaya çikabilmektedir. Deri kurulugu görülen çocuklarda ve yetiskinlerde, eksilen yag asitlerinin yerine konmasi ve derinin nemlendirilmesi yasam kalitesini artirir.

Linoleik asit Deri için çok önemli yag asididir. Eksikliginde derinin koruyucu tabakasi bozulabilir ve asiri su kaybindan dolayi kuruluk, kuruluga bagli kasinti ve kizariklik olusabilir. Bitkisel kaynaklardan elde edilen linoleik asit, deri kurulugu yasayan çocuklarda ve yetiskinlerde su kaybini engellenmeye, kurulugu, kuruluga bagli kasinti ve kizarikligi azaltmaya ve derinin kaybettigi nemin geri kazandirilmasina yardimci olur. Ayrica deri kurulugu yasayan çocuk ve yetiskinlerde, linoleik asit içeren banyo ürünlerinin kullanilmasi, banyodan sonra olusabilecek kuruluk, kasinti ve kizarikligin giderilmesine de yardimci olur.
