Eyelashes are human hairs on the upper and lower eyelids. Each eyelid has layers of eyelashes on top of each other, we can have three to five layers of eyelashes that protect and frame the eyelids. Eyelashes have the same anatomy as human body hair. They are attached to the eyelid by a root, they have small muscles located in the eyelids that close the eyes before an external threat.There are 2 different types of keratin in our tissues: soft and hard keratins. Hard keratin has very little flexibility due to the presence of many disulfide cross-links. This type of keratin is mainly found in the nail and hair cortex. Hair keratin-associated proteins (KAP) are an important component of the hair fiber and play an important role in creating a strong hair shaft. KAP is rich in residues that enable them to cross-link with keratin cysteine residues. They are necessary for the formation of hard and durable hair. The features to be sought in an eyebrow and eyelash care oil are that it contributes to rapid cell renewal in the eyebrow and eyelash roots and helps the roots to strengthen and develop healthily. Brush-tipped products should be preferred for ease of use and rapid effect on the eyebrow and eyelash roots. Most importantly, products containing organic ingredients should be preferred.

Kil keratinle iliskili proteinler (KAP) kil elyafinin önemli bir bilesenidir ve güçlü bir kil safti olusturmada önemli rol oynar. KAP, keratin sistein kalintilariyla çapraz baglanmalarini saglayan kalintilari bakimindan zengindir. Sert ve dayanikli saçlarin olusumu için gereklidirler.Bir kas ve kirpik bakim yaginda aranmasi gereken özellikler, kas ve kirpik köklerinde hizli hücre yenilenmesine katkida bulunmasi ve köklerin güçlenmesine, saglikli gelisimine yardimci olmasidir. Kullanim kolayligi ve kas kirpik köklerine hizli etki etmesi açisindan firça uçlu ürünler tercih edilmelidir. En önemlisi ise organik bilesenler içeren ürünler tercih edilmelidir.
