Description: Naturally derived, cationic self-emulsifying wax quaternary conditioner consisting of 75 of cetearyl alcohol and 25 of behentrimonium methosulfate (derived from colza oil of the natural plant Colza). HLB Value about 15 (gives oil-in-water emulsion). Similar to BTMS. CreamMaker CAT is BTMS plus cetearyl alcohol. Insoluble, but dispersible in water oil. CAS: 241148-21-0, 81646-13-1, 67762-27-0, 8005-44-5 INCI Name: Behentrimonium Methosulfate (and) Cetearyl Alcohol Benefits: - Skin care products: gives superior cationic emulsions with soft powdery feel, thickening and stabilizing effects, able to emulsify silicone up to 50 - Hair care products: excellent conditioning and detangling effects, superior wet combing, very gentle for leave-on products. Use: Warm to melt before use, dispersible in oil or water, use 2-10 in formulations. For external use only.
