The following conditions may affect accuracy: carrying loosely, holding in hand while walking, using with a walking aid, etc.
For best accuracy, we recommend that you maintain a relatively constant walking frequency while carrying your pedometer and walking. And the 10-step error-proof feature prevents irregular non-walking movements from being falsely counted as steps. It means that the dynamic counts recorded from the resting state are placed in the temporary cache of the pedometer, and if the number of consecutive dynamic counts exceeds 10, the step count starts to be recorded (From the 10th step, the step counter will start counting, i.e. 11, 12, 13, etc.). On the contrary, the pedometer will clear the number of steps in the cache after some seconds.
Error range:
Walking: the frequency of walking is about 100 steps/MIN, walking 100 steps, the recorded steps should be in the range of 92~108 steps.
Running: The frequency of running is about 170 steps/MIN, running 100 steps, the recorded steps should be within the range of 95~105 steps.
