Goat milk is much easier to digest and less allergenic than cow milk. Goat milk is more alkaline and the protein forms a softer curd in the stomach.
Our Clean Whey Protein comes from healthy, happy goats in the Pacific Northwest. Goat whey protein has a higher biological value than any other known food source including bovine (cow) whey protein. It is quickly metabolized for maximum effect and is easy-to-digest.
Many who have issues of bloating and stomach upset with cow whey protein do much better with goat whey protein. Try it out today and see for yourself!
Glutathione is one of your body's major antioxidants. It revives other key antioxidants, like vitamin C, after they have been used up, and keeps them going and benefitting the body. Your liver also has a glutathione detox pathway that helps to clear unwanted elements out of the body. Glutathione is made up of three amino acids: glycine, l-cysteine and l-glutamate, which are all found in whey protein.
Our Clean Whey Protein tastes great and is easy-to-digest. It comes in unflavored/unsweetened or vanilla flavor sweetened with stevia. It can be mixed into goat milk, water, or a nut milk or blended into a smoothie. You can also add this protein powder to your oatmeal or pancakes for a protein boost.
Try it in an orange creamsicle smoothie (recipe below)!
Whey protein contains the highest levels of branched chain amino acids found in any natural food source. BCAAs are a combination of three amino acids: leucine, isoleucine, and valine and are known for supporting muscle growth and recovery.
Ingredients:
2 tsp vanilla extract
6 oz goat milk or nut milk
1 ½ cups ice
6 oz orange juice
1 frozen banana, sliced
1 ½ Tbs. honey
2 scoops Mt. Capra Goat Whey Protein (unsweetened)*
Place all ingredients into blender and process until smooth. This smoothie should be fairly thin and frothy, it is intended to be enjoyed immediately as it will begin to separate the longer that it sits.
*You can cut down or eliminate the vanilla extract if using the vanilla flavored whey protein powder
