Altin Harvest Natural Extra Virgin Olive Oil 750ml (Tin)
Contents:Natural Olives
Olive Variety and Region:
Produced from olives in our family orchards in the Mut region of Mersin (the Mut region is one of the rare regions in Turkey where pesticide-free production is practiced).
Low Acidity: According to the Turkish Food Codex, Extra Virgin Olive Oil must be 0.8 or below. Mutili Gold Series Olive Oils are bottled at 0.4 and below.
High Polyphenol:
Obtained from olives harvested from our trees using completely natural agricultural methods, without the use of any pesticides or similar chemicals.
Since our first harvest olive oils in this category yield 1 kg of olive oil from an average of 10 kg of olives, they are produced in limited quantities only. It is recommended to consume a quarter cup of tea every morning on an empty stomach, especially for medicinal healing purposes.
What is a Polyphenol?
Polyphenols are micronutrients and compounds found naturally in plant foods, especially fruits and vegetables. They are verypowerful antioxidants. Polyphenols, found especially in natural olive oil, help prevent cell damage, slow the aging process, and protect our bodies against diseases.
High-polyphenol olive oil contains more polyphenols than other olive oil varieties and therefore has a stronger antioxidant effect.
Consuming high-polyphenol olive oil has many positive benefits for human health, especially heart health. Polyphenols protect vascular health by lowering bad cholesterol, reduce the risk of heart disease, and have an important effect on balancing blood pressure.
Consuming high-polyphenol olive oil daily has significant benefits in protecting the cardiovascular system.
Our Production Process:
Our olives are harvested by hand, carefully, and without touching the ground, from our Mut Geographical Indication (MUT) orchards in October-November, while they are still green and or half-red.
They are placed in perforated, air-permeable crates, each holding a maximum of 20 kg. They are immediately transported to the factory within a few hours and pressed.
Transporting olives in crates instead of sacks prevents them from heating and acidifying. This way, the olives' polyphenol values are preserved to a maximum extent, preventing the formation of negative flavors in the oil.
It is produced using the Cold Press method in two-phase continuous machines at a maximum temperature of 27 C.
With this production method, vitamins and phenolic compounds that are beneficial to health are kept at a high level.
It gives excellent results in salads and appetizers.
It has high nutritional value and a fruity flavor for babies and children.
Packaging and Storage Conditions:
Our carefully packaged bottles comply with international standards for food protection, are UV protected, and airtight. You can store your olive oil in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and moisture.
All of our olive oils should be kept away from oxygen, light, and heat. However, when you buy unfiltered, pulpy oil, you should keep it away from oxygen, heat, and light.
