Baking powder is used for raising dough in savory and sweet pastries. Gluten-free and phosphate-free. Dough rises by a simple natural reaction of the ingredients when placed in certain conditions of humidity and heat. Sodium bicarbonate causes the dough to rise by releg carbon dioxide. Tartaric acid activates the release of carbon dioxide it is obtained from the lees and marc of wines in distilleries. Corn starch, a neutral base, helps preserve the properties of each ingredient. 50g family pack. INGREDIENTS Corn starch , sodium bicarbonate, natural tartaric acid from winemaking. Products from Organic Farming. DIRECTIONS FOR USE Recommended dosage: 2 teaspoons for 250g of flour. Dry mix the baking powder with some of the flour for better distribution.
