Nutritional yeast is translated into Turkish as "nutritional yeast." Its Latin name is Saccharomyces cerevisiae, and it is one of the most important types of baker's yeast used since ancient times.
It is grown on sugar sources (molasses) enriched with vitamins and minerals.
Yeast grows by consuming vitamin-enriched molasses.
To ensure yeast growth, oxygen is provided to create aerobic conditions (aerobic respiration). Production takes place in a completely controlled environment to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a high-quality product.
At the end of the growth period, it is pasteurized and dried to inactivate it.
The yeast, inactivated by heat, has now been transformed into a food containing B complex vitamins and various minerals.
It contains approximately 100 protein.
Since the yeast is inactive, it is suitable for human consumption.
However, this yeast can no longer be used for leavening. It is only suitable for nutritional purposes.

How do I use it?
Nutritional yeast can be used directly as a food or as a supplement to enrich the nutritional content.
It has a cheesy flavor. A serving size for adults is approximately 1 tablespoon.
It can be sprinkled on pasta, added to pasta sauce, or added to soups, salads, hot dishes, snacks like popcorn, baked vegetable chips, or various recipes like omelets to create a cheesy flavor.
It can be added to recipes such as homemade pastries, crackers, and savory muffins. It can also be used in vegan cheese making due to its aroma. It is suitable for vegan and vegetarian diets.
Contains no additives, no gluten, and no added sugar.
Note: We recommend that people with yeast intolerance test a small amount before use.
