Quendel - The medicinal herb with a history. The name Quendel applies to exactly two plants. When used as a tea or spice, it is called Feld-Thym or broadleaf thyme. The meaning of the herb's name has diminished over time. Only the non-woody, flowering part of the plant is used to make Quendel tea. It is harvested, cleaned of any large debris, and then gently dried. This delicate herb requires great care – it must not be pressed or crushed during processing.
