Gelmintal spot-on is a new generation of anthelmintics for external use.
Intended for adult cats weighing from 4 to 10 kg.
Gelminthal drops are prescribed to cats for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes for intestinal nematodosis (toxocariasis, toxascariasis, uncinariasis, ancylostomiasis), cestodiasis (taeniasis, dipylidiasis, echinococcosis), entomoses caused by fleas, otodectosis and notoedrosis, as well as for the prevention of dirofilariasis.

Pharmacological properties:
Gelminthal drops for cats belong to combined antiparasitic drugs.
The combination of moxidectin and praziquantel, which are part of the drug, provides a wide spectrum of its antiparasitic action, including against larval and mature phases of development of intestinal nematodes, including Ancylostoma tubaeforme, Ancylostoma cati and Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, cestodes (Dipylidium latum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus multilocularis), larval stages of development (microfilariae) of Dirofilaria immitis, sarcoptic mites (Notoedres cati, Otodectes cynotis) and fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) parasitizing cats.
Contraindications to the use of Gelmintal include individual hypersensitivity of the cat to the components of the drug, including a history of hypersensitivity, and severe renal and hepatic dysfunction.
In case of an overdose of the drug, the animal may experience weakness, tremors, and salivation.
There are no specific detoxification agents; general measures aimed at removing the drug from the body are used.

При передозировке препарата у животного может наблюдаться слабость, тремор, саливация. Специфические средства детоксикации отсутствуют, применяют общие меры, направленные на выведение лекарственного препарата из организма.
