Gelmintal spot-on is a new generation of anthelmintics for external use.

Intended for adult cats weighing up to 4 kg.

Gelminthal drops are prescribed to cats for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes for intestinal nematodosis (toxocariasis, toxascariasis, uncinariasis, ancylostomiasis), cestodiasis (taeniasis, dipylidiasis, echinococcosis), entomoses caused by fleas, otodectosis and notoedrosis, as well as for the prevention of dirofilariasis.

Pharmacological properties:

Gelminthal drops for cats belong to combined antiparasitic drugs.

The combination of moxidectin and praziquantel, which are part of the drug, provides a wide spectrum of its antiparasitic action, including against larval and mature phases of development of intestinal nematodes, including Ancylostoma tubaeforme, Ancylostoma cati and Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, cestodes (Dipylidium latum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus multilocularis), larval stages of development (microfilariae) of Dirofilaria immitis, sarcoptic mites (Notoedres cati, Otodectes cynotis) and fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) parasitizing cats.

Treatment of animals weighing less than 1 kg, if necessary, should be carried out after consultation with a veterinarian.

The drug is used in cats by dropwise ("spot-on") application to dry, intact skin.

The minimum therapeutic dose of the drug for cats is 0.1 ml per 1 kg of animal weight (4 mg praziquantel and 1 mg moxidectin per 1 kg).
