Gelmintal syrup is a unique anthelmintic drug with the smell and taste of ice cream.
Intended for adult cats weighing over 4 kg.
Gelminthal syrup is prescribed to adult cats and kittens for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes for nematodosis (toxocariasis, toxascariasis, uncinariasis, ancylostomiasis, trichuriasis), cestodiasis (taeniasis, dipyliddosis, echinococcosis, diphyllobothriasis, mesocestoidosis) and associative nematodfcestodosis infestations, as well as for the prevention of dirofilariasis.

Pharmacological properties:
Gelminthal syrup belongs to the group of combined anthelmintic drugs.
The combination of moxidectin and praziquantel, which are part of the drug, provides a wide spectrum of its anthelmintic action against larval and mature phases development of intestinal nematodes (Toxocara cams, Toxocara mistax, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Trichuris vulpis, Ancylosloma caninum) and cestodes (Echinococcus granulosus, Alveococus multilocularis, Mesoces oides lineatus, Dipylidium caninum, Diphyllobotrium latum, Multiceps multiceps s), larval stages of development (microfilariae) Dirofilaria immitis and Dirofilaria repens.
In case of an overdose of the drug, the animal may experience depression, refusal to feed, excessive salivation, and gastrointestinal upset.
In these cases, the animal is prescribed enterosorbents and symptomatic therapy.

При передозировке препарата у животного может наблюдаться угнетенное состояние, отказ от корма, избыточное слюноотделение, расстройство желудочно-кишечного тракта. В этих случаях животному назначают энтеросорбенты и средства симптоматической терапии.
