OUR METHOD FOR OBTAINING ST. GOUR'S GOUR'S GOUR' OIL

a.We collect the flowers, leaves and branches of the St. John's wort plant.

b.We clean the St. John's Wort thoroughly, separate it from weeds and wash it. Then we leave it to dry by turning it for 1-2 hours.

c.We place the dry herbs in a clean glass jar and add extra virgin olive oil so that it completely covers it. (1st MACERATION)

d.We close the jar tightly and leave the oil with the herbs in it in the sun for at least 4-8 weeks. We shake the jar almost every day 1-2 times. During this time, the oil, essence and aroma of the St. John's Wort pass into the olive oil. If fresh St. John's Wort flowers are used, the oil will be red, if dried flowers are used, the oil will be yellow. Both have the same properties in terms of effect.

e. After the waiting period is over, we cold-press the oil and its contents and strain it with a strainer. We discard the pulp.

f.We add St. John's wort plant to the resulting St. John's wort oil again and keep it in the sun for 4-8 weeks. (2. MACERATION)

g.Thus we obtain a dark red and dense St. John's Wort oil…

b.Sari kantaronu iyice temizler, yabanci otlardanayiririz ve yikariz. Sonra 1-2 saat çevirerek kurutmaya birakiriz.

c.Kuru bitkileri temiz bir cam kavanoza yerlestiririzve üzerini tamamen kaplayacak sekilde sizma zeytinyagi yagi ekleriz. ( 1.MASERASYON)

d.Kavanozun agzini sikica kapatip ve içerdigibitkilerle beraber yagi güneste en az 4-8 hafta boyunca bekletiriz. Hemen hemenher gün 1-2 defa kavanozu çalkalariz. Bu süre boyunca, sari kantaronun yagi veözü, aromasi zeytinyagina geçer. Taze sari kantaron çiçegi kullanilirsa yagkirmizi, kuru çiçekler kullanilirsa yagin rengi sari olacaktir. Etkiolarak ikisi de ayni özelliklere sahiptir.
