Our honey is completely additive-free and produced in its natural environment.
The production area is Örencik Village in Yalova. The village's natural habitat consists of forests and flowered areas. Chestnut, Linden, and Oak trees predominate. In the last months of summer, the village stands out with its diverse floral flora.
The examination and analysis report for our honey was obtained from Mugla Sitki Koçman University Food Applications and Research Center.
The results showed that our honey quality is quite high. These values were compared with the values in the TURKISH FOOD CODEX HONEY COMMUNIQUE.
Proline is the most abundant amino acid in honey and is an indicator of its quality. We can determine the quality and purity of honey, a natural protein source, by looking at its proline value. Proline, determined through laboratory analysis, cannot be obtained artificially. It is transferred to the honey by bees during honey production.According to the Turkish Food Codex Honey Communiqué, the proline content in high-quality honey should be at least 300 mg kg. The proline value in this production of NOYA Honeyis 769 mg kg.
The raw, unadulterated, and genuine nature of honey cannot be determined by characteristics such as color, smell, and consistency. C13 analysis is performed to detect imitation and counterfeiting of honey. According to these analyses, the C13 value of genuine honeyshould be -1 or lower. NOYA Honey'sC13 value is -26.05.
